Have you ever wanted to start your life over – or been forced to do so? It’s scary. It’s exciting. It’s also fun! I know. I’ve made new beginnings after divorce, career changes, breast cancer, the death of my only child, and in each of the twenty-eight countries where I’ve worked.
Starting over is the pattern of life for educated women everywhere. Today’s educated woman recognizes that she will reinvent herself frequently. She knows and cares about her sisters around the world. She turns to books and the Internet to help forge personal answers to age-old dilemmas. She uses art to express herself creatively and spiritually.
Self-reinvention requires proficiency in navigating change and transition. I am committed to providing you with the skills and abilities that enabled me to become an award-winning writer and artist, public speaker, master group facilitator, and a mentor to women seeking to reposition or re-invent their lives.
My books, SEED OF IMAGINATION, An Ancestral Creative Journey (2019) and PILGRIMAGE Wonder Encounter Witness (2011) were published to accompany exhibitions of my original artworks. I have co-edited two art books, Art: Twenty-Ten and Art: Twenty-Eleven, and three books of poetry. My writings have appeared in FOCUS on Women magazine, Oregon Quarterly, American Artist, and étude. I won the 2007 Northwest Perspectives essay contest and hold a master’s degree in literary nonfiction.
My art is represented by Fountainhead Gallery in Seattle, Washington.
