Artist Resume

 BIOGRAPHY

LiDoña Wagner is an active exhibiting artist who is always exploring new ways of conveying her global vision. Wagner uses acrylic, mixed media, and a love of color to express her passion and commitment to the peoples and environment of the blue marble. Her vision is inspired by experiences such as flying all over Africa in six seat prop planes; working in remote villages in Africa, India, Latin America, North and Southeast Asia; and solitary investigation of the roots of Mediterranean culture. In her current body of work, she is tracing our human migration from East Africa to all parts of the world.

Wagner is represented by Fountainhead Gallery in Seattle Washington. Her paintings hang in private and public collections in Australia, Canada, Egypt, Mexico and United States. She is listed in Ask Art’s The Artists’ Bluebook, Art: Twenty Ten, and Art: Twenty Eleven. Articles on her artwork have appeared in American Artist and Palette magazines. Ms. Wagner holds a master’s degree in Literary Nonfiction from University of Oregon. Her book, PILGRIMAGE Wonder, Encounter, Witness was published in 2011. Her understanding of symbols was sharpened by working with Jungian analyst Miléne Baron in Brussels, Belgium.
